I am not sure if everyone understands the importance of this news headline or not, but I sure do. It has biblical significance; Jesus said that the His word would be preached to all nations. In fact, the King James version states it this way:
Matthew 28: 18-19 "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heave and earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost."
Obviously there is a lot of work to be done. This tribe will have to be reached, which can take some time, patience and a lot of prayer. It may be quick though, you never know what God can accomplish, He surprises us each day with miracles.
This is just another step closer in finding lost people. It's another chance to reach the lost people with the gospel, no matter how long it may take. What Jesus says in Matthew 28 will come true.

Current News For May
Once in awhile it's nice just to put in a few links to websites that have information pertaining to our political process, Christian views or missionary news, or just news that backs up what the bible tells us.
First article of discussion is what has happened in California. The California people voted against allowing gay marriages, but recently a judge in California has overturned this and beginning June 17, 2008; that state will allow gay marriages. First thing I have to say is it is an abomination, that is clear in the bible. Second comment is this, since when can a judge overturn something that the people voted on? What if it was just the opposite, and the people voted to allow gay marriages, but the judge overturned that vote and made it illegal? You would have every liberal organization from the ACLU to Hamas crying foul.
Now New York is following suit. May God have mercy on this nation!

Next on my list is McClellan. It does not surprise me that he has turned on the President, but why? Is it because President Bush is a Christian? Is it for the money? What drives people to turn on their co-workers, friends and family? I haven't read the book, won't read it but I will pray for McClellan, President Bush and his family, friends and staff. We are entering into an age that is extremely fascinating, but yet very scary. This is just the first wave of those that will turn on President Bush. We all will face this sooner or later. Jesus told us in the gospels that we all will face some type of persecution. The persecutions of President Bush have been going on for awhile now, but will soon escalate to gigantic proportions because of the potential for political gain and financial gain for some.

The Seals
Is it possible that some of the seals have been broken that are written in Revelation 6? Only God the Father knows all, and knows when the end will come, but I am not talking about the end. I am talking about the potential for seals to be broken, that start the events of the end. If the seals haven't been broken, then just imagine how much worse things will be when they are broken. Read through each seal below and what God's word says about each. If the seals are broken after the rapture, wow, look at how much worse it will get.
I always keep in mind though, the world will be in chaos when the rapture occurs, and even worse afterward. That's when the anti-Christ will take the stage and become the abomination that creates desolation and makes world peace. He claims to be God, he signs the peace treaty. There's peace for 3.5 years, then for 3.5 years the evil one will be out to destroy the Jewish people and Christians that are left behind. So are the seals broken prior to the rapture, or after the peace treaty is broken? The bible tells us that we will endure some of the bad things, before Jesus stops it by taking His believers, His church home. Revelation 3:10 states " Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on earth. " There are many verses that point to the rapture, it will come at an hour that is not known, except by the Father. Matthew 24 really explains well what will happen. Jesus told the disciples that they, as well as all believers would face persecution, but it will be shortened.
Whether we are in the times of the seals being broken as we speak, or in the times that prior to the seals being broken, we have to keep looking up, looking for Jesus, worshiping Him and reaching out to all. We were commanded to do that, read Matthew 28. Keep focused on what is important, but there is nothing wrong with studying God's word, praying that He opens revelations of His word to you, and gaining understanding. But we have to keep giving people the Good News.

1st seal - "I looked and there before me was a white horse. Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest. Many different people interpret this differently. I am not totally sure what it means. Could it mean that Satan was given more authority to try to tempt us? To try and wage war against the saints? To try and conquer the earth and mankind is Satan's goal. Not because he wants to see us in hell with him, but to prevent us from spending eternity with Jesus. Could the evil one be loosed even more to try and tempt each of us at this point?
2nd seal - The rider on a red horse. This one was given the authority to take peace from earth, to make men turn on each other and kill, with the sword. I know wars have been around for centuries, but stop and think about how terrible wars have been since WWI and WWII. Literally, millions died in those 2 wars, not to mention all off the wars worldwide since the beginning of the 20th century.
3rd seal - The rider on a black horse, holding a pair of scales in his hand. The statement "A quart of wheat for a day's wages and 3 quarts of barley for a day's wages and do not damage the oil or the wine" bring chills to me in the times we live in now. How much are you currently paying for food? Look at the increase in prices, look at the price of bread, milk, meat, oil, gas, look at the price of everything! Prices for everything are increasing fast, anywhere from 5% to 100% and more increases. Bet your cost of living raise last year was only 3% or less wasn't it? There are 37 nations on the brink of complete starvation. We are experiencing the rationing of rice in the US now. For the first time in American history, we are importing wheat because we cannot grow enough for all the demand. Corn prices are high, soybean prices. Market hog prices have gone up from $.40 per pound to over $.62 per pound in approximately 6 weeks. Market cattle prices are high. Gas is high, utility bills are high. Has this seal been broken? If not, imagine how much worse things will be when it really is broken!
4th seal - If you have seen the movie Tombstone, you know this verse. "I looked and there before me was a pale horse. It's rider was named Death and Hades followed closely behind Him." What does all this mean? To read on, it says that they were given power over a fourth of the world to kill by sword, famine, plague and beasts of the earth. Wow, imagine that. Have you seen this? Have you watched the news lately?
Killing by the sword, or murder, manslaughter, however you want to call it. Death by murder or war is there every day, each second that goes by. Plagues, can you see it? The whole world is watching as diseases, viruses, pathogens are all increasing in size and spreading fast. Look at the bird flu, it's mutating and at some point will jump to humans. Cancer is another one. Famine, is there starvation across the world, especially Africa? Do we see it right here in America? Yes, we do. Beasts of the earth, hmmm, have you noticed lately how many shark attacks, coyote attacks, bear attacks, dog attacks, alligator attacks and even unknown animal attacks (New Mexico).
Again, this seal may not be broken, but when it is broken will it become much, much worse? Yes, and even if the seal is broken right now it will continue to escalate.
The last sentence, about not damaging the oil and wine, or in other words, don't hurt the rich. I am not talking about Bill Gates, and Donald Trump here. Rich societies, that have the control over those things. How much money do the royal families of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Yemen, Oman, Kuwait and other nations have? I have seen pictures of the homes of some of these billionaires and was blown away by them. One house was large enough to probably house 1, 000 people without crowding them. Even as we speak, Egyptians are starving, yet their muslim brothers in Saudi Arabia have not wanted to send money and food to help them.

5th seal - This is an amazing moment in detailed in the bible. Those that have been slain for the Word of God, ask, how much longer Lord? It seems that they are witnessing the persecution of those still on earth that believe and worship Jesus. They ask the Lord, how much longer before you avenge the blood of the saints? They are told to wait a little while longer, while the number of the servants and brothers is complete. Only God understands how many that number is.
What's written in these verses that make me think that possibly the first 3-4 seals will be broken prior to the rapture and beginning of the tribulation. Could the first 4 seals be broken, the rapture occur, then after the perfect time, the 5th seal is opened? As I have said before, only God knows, but since there is no indication of when the breaking of the seals start or how long the affects of each seal are implemented before the next seal is broken. I cannot even speculate on the amount of time for each one of those things to occur. One thing is for sure, by the 5th or 6th seal, or at least after the breaking of one of these seals, we are in the tribulation and saints are being killed for Jesus!
6th seal - Just open up any news website, newspaper or turn on the news today. In it you will read about earthquakes, about how the earth is changing (some call it global warning), or read about the tsunami that occurred in 2004. The things that are listed in the 6th seal are occurring as we speak. But not to the magnitude that they will occur when the 6th seal is broken. Earthquakes so powerful, mountains crumble, islands disappear!
Each year that goes by we are in the preparation state for this time. Earthquakes are increasing each year. The earth is getting warmer, and even islands have disappeared during the 2004 tsunami. The earth at some point will burn up and be refined.
Could it be that the rapture occurs after the breaking of the 6th seal, or is the rapture to occur at the same time of the breaking of the 6th seal? After the breaking of the 6th seal, the 144,000 are sealed, the wind is also stopped, which could also mean that the Holy Spirit is taken at the point. Without the Holy Spirit on earth, and without Christians on earth, how bad is it going to be? It is obvious that between the 6th and 7th seals there is a specific time period, only known to God, but as it states in Revelation 7; 13-14, we know that those seen by John in white robes are those that have come out of the great tribulation.
The 7th seal will opened after this. There will be silence in heaven for about a half hour, then the unleashing of the 7 trumpets begins.
It's also possible that the 7 trumpets (1-4, 5-6, 7 ) bring an end to the first 3.5 years and usher in the last 3.5 years. Is that when the 2 witnesses will be on the streets of Jerusalem preaching about Jesus? At this time also, is Satan allowed to go after the Jewish people, as stated in Revelation 12, and the evil trinity comes out of the sea to attack as well?
Again, only God knows in very finite detail how, when and where all these events will take place. The main thing is to know Jesus as your savior. To acknowledge before men that Jesus is your Lord and Savior, and that God raised Him from the dead on the 3rd day. Keep looking up, focus on God's word, have fellowship with other believers and please, reach out to all about who Jesus is.

Senator to President
I throw in my support for Senator McCain during this election. It's not that I totally support Senator McCain, but more importantly the other options are not safe for our country or our world. My first choice was Governor Huckabee, but this just isn't his time, yet.
So what is wrong with Senator Clinton? Here's my points:
I believe in less government, not big government. National health care is big government. We aren't going to get free health care, an large increase in all of our taxes will be initiated to pay for this.
I don't believe in allowing the mis-use of entitlements to continue. For example, our welfare system needs to be completely re-done. Yes, we as a nation need it, but to help people get on their feet, find gainful employment and get them back on the job if at all possible.
Senator Clinton is just not honest, take for example her telling of the visit to Bosnia. She claimed that they landed and upon leaving the plane came under sniper fire. Of course that didn't happen, and her excuse was that she mis-spoke. I am sorry, I don't buy that. As a kid, if I got caught eating cookies when I wasn't supposed and got caught with chocolate on my hands, I couldn't say that I wasn't eating cookies then turn around, change my story and say that I mis-spoke. My Mom wouldn't have bought that one.
It has nothing to do with her gender, and everything to do with the differences in our beliefs. I focus my beliefs and dependence on Jesus, not dependence on government. At the end of each day, government lets us down, but God will never forsake us!

All I can say is this, no way! I actually respect Senator Clinton more than Senator Obama. With Senator Clinton, at least I know where she stands, I don't agree with her, but at least I know that much.
Senator Obama keeps preaching the word change. What change? What kind of change? Yes, I believe he is about change, but change doesn't always mean good, as a matter of fact many times change can be very bad. If you are going to change, or convince people to change, the only change I see worthwhile is to become a follower of Jesus.
Another issue with Senator Obama, his spiritual leader, Pastor Wright. I do not stand in judge of him, but anyone that preaches hatred, and I mean anyone, isn't following the commandments of Jesus. The 2 greatest commandments are; "love the Lord your God with all your heart and soul" and "Love each each other." I have not seen that from him, but I have not heard or seen all sermons either.
My bottom line is this, Senator McCain is the best choice at this time. I hope and pray that he will stand up for Jesus and allow the Holy Spirit to lead him. I pray that for all of us.

Is America Ready?
If Senator McCain doesn't win the Presidential election, and Senator Obama is the democratic choice, is America ready for a President educated and raised a Muslim?
That's a question I would love to hear the answer to from our nation. I know what my answer is, no. We are an imperfect Christian nation. I say imperfect because it is true. The only perfection that walked this earth was Jesus, so how can we as a nation be perfect?
When terrorist groups like Hamas throw in their support for Obama, it's time this nation stood up and realized, there just may be something wrong. When former President Carter meets with Hamas, I know there is something wrong. He's nothing but a senile anti-Semitic and anti-American.
What happens if Obama becomes president? What if the democrats have control over the senate and house? What if Obama uses the new martial law that was enacted in 2006 to establish socialist muslim control? As president, anyone can enact this law into reality.
We must be prepared for the worst. I hope that the bulk of this nation will realize what is happening, and the potential for disaster and vote for the best of three options - Senator McCain.
Pray for our nation. Read Deuteronomy 28!

Witches casting spells on our troops?
I can't believe in our great country that we actually have "witches" trying to cast a spell on our soldiers, specifically the marines. This is just wrong!
First thing first, I rebuke those witches and ask that Jesus touch their hearts. I pray that the Holy Spirit will open the eyes of those involved to see just how wrong it really is. Those service men and women are protecting all of us, including the witches that are protesting them! Their freedom to protest their protectors is guaranteed by our nation and military.
I also want to express my sincere thanks to all American soldiers that have served our great nation, past, present and future. I am humbled and honored by the sacrifice of so few for so many in our great nation. Without their dedication, the war protesters, liberals, witches and all other anti-Americans would not be able to freely express their feelings without being imprisoned or killed. Just take a look at communist nations, radical islamic nations and socialist regimes.
Yes, they are protesting the protectors of the greatest nation in this world, and I completely disagree with what they are doing.
Our greatest Republican leaders in the past would not have just sat back quietly and take this. I hope our leadership will stand up and rebuke them as well. We all need to pray for the soldiers, and those that are protesting them and casting spells on them. May my Lord and Savior Jesus show the light to those people.
Please get the word out. Please get everyone you know to pray for our soldiers!
First thing first, I rebuke those witches and ask that Jesus touch their hearts. I pray that the Holy Spirit will open the eyes of those involved to see just how wrong it really is. Those service men and women are protecting all of us, including the witches that are protesting them! Their freedom to protest their protectors is guaranteed by our nation and military.
I also want to express my sincere thanks to all American soldiers that have served our great nation, past, present and future. I am humbled and honored by the sacrifice of so few for so many in our great nation. Without their dedication, the war protesters, liberals, witches and all other anti-Americans would not be able to freely express their feelings without being imprisoned or killed. Just take a look at communist nations, radical islamic nations and socialist regimes.
Yes, they are protesting the protectors of the greatest nation in this world, and I completely disagree with what they are doing.
Our greatest Republican leaders in the past would not have just sat back quietly and take this. I hope our leadership will stand up and rebuke them as well. We all need to pray for the soldiers, and those that are protesting them and casting spells on them. May my Lord and Savior Jesus show the light to those people.
Please get the word out. Please get everyone you know to pray for our soldiers!
Election Year
It's that time again, election year. This is a big one, voting for a new president, after 8 years of a good president,President Bush. I would like to call President Bush great, but he didn't go after Roe Vs. Wade and stand up for the innocent the way I wished he would have. I know he may not have won that issue, but I wish that he would have made his stance, and let people know where he stood. We either stand with Jesus and life, or we are against Him.
Anyway, we are down to 3 choices. Senator Obama, Senator Clinton or Senator McCain. I remember my high school government teacher telling us the best way to vote is to vote for the lesser of evils. That's what we are faced with during this election year.
I cannot vote for either Senator Clinton or Senator Obama. They are pro-choice, which is pro-murder in my mind. Murder of innocent children. I also cannot vote for them because of their views on entitlements and government control. We need less of both. Don't get me wrong, welfare systems are good for those that need them, but for those that can work and get by without government assistance but still collect it, that's wrong, wrong, wrong. Both of these senators are too liberal, and to me the farther left you go on the liberal scale, the more Anti-Christ you become. Yes, I know that I am bold, but it's true. I also don't believe in gay marriage, marriage was defined by God as between a man and a woman. It's Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve. It's also not Rosie and Ellen either. Another strike for the democrats.
Another thing that chaps my hide is the fact that the democrats are supposed to be for the blue collar people, but in reality, they are the ones that want to tax you to death, tax your inheritance (capital gains tax) raid your social security, take away freedom of health care and promote state sponsored health care and worse is they want to remove God and Jesus from all educational systems, and our society. Just read Deuteronomy 28, you'll see quickly why George Washington quoted this scripture during an inaugural speech. If we want to continue to be blessed by God as a nation we need to do the following:
Return to worshiping God through Jesus.
Be obedient to all of God's word.
Turn way from sin, and do not compromise our moral values as written by God.
Now, Senator McCain is the only choice to vote for during this election as far as I am concerned. I wish that Governor Huckabee was the choice, but Senator McCain will be the best choice compared to Senators Obama and Clinton. He is against abortion, and stands up for the life of the innocent and unborn. Notice that Senator McCain always refers to babies as unborn or born, he recognizes that it is a life growing inside a woman, not a blob, fetus or any other term. It's a human being being developed by God. Good Job Senator McCain. Senator McCain also believes in less government and less taxes.
The only choice worth voting for in this election. I just wish he would select Governor Huckabee as his running mate.

Time
I just saw a report on the news on how people are not getting enough time each day to get everything done. It says on average, we all need to cram 31 hours into 24. That's right, 31 hours into 24. Impossible, right?
Yes, it is impossible, but like me, I am sure there are millions of people wishing that there were an extra 7 or 9 hours in each day. We want enough time to work, shop, cook, clean, read, pray, attend bible studies, sporting events, political events, watch TV, go to movies, go on dates, spend time with our spouses, family, volunteer, relax, etc. Now throw in children. Toddlers and babies have to be fed, they most often go with us everywhere and so we take along diaper bags, deal with grumpiness, teething etc. As they get older and involved with church, school, sporting and musical activities, we are on the go constantly. No complaint here, I love my family and kids, I just wish we had the extra time or more time.
So how do we do it? You can say time management, but still there are only so many hours in a day. I most generally get to work around 6 AM, and usually leave around 5 PM. I don't have much of a commute, just 2 miles, but that's 11 hours a day away from home. Once home, it's time to help prepare supper, help feed the kids, fold the laundry, baths for the kids, get ready to get them to bed. We dedicate time each night to bible study and prayer, precious time that is important, not only for us, but for our children to witness so they can begin their relationship with Jesus. By 8, we usually have everyone settled down and ready for bed or already in bed. That leaves some time for my wife and I, unless there one of us has to work from home on something, or there's been other things going on. All in all, by the time we have time to enjoy it, we are so tired that the only thing that sounds good is bed.
Not so long ago, things were different. I believe through the 1970's, the average parent was still working a 40 hour work week, not 50 plus. Things were slower, no internet, e-mail, computers, video games, bank ATM cards, satellite televion, or anything too techno. Just listen to Bucky Covington's song "Different World".
Previous generations even had more time. Look at the 50's and prior. God, Family and family activities were priority. Work was just a means to supply the needs. God provided through the jobs people had. The jobs did not define the person, but now that is become normal. People want their careers, and put everything into it. Sacrificing marriages, the chance to marry and even children. But, what happens when we become old? By yourself, no spouse, children or grandchildren. Sounds depressing doesn't it?
I love having a job I like, balancing that with family, church, etc. Ihave my family I love and I love coming home to hear my kids scream and yell Dad's home. I don't want to grow old alone, I want to share my life with someone I love, my wife. I want to see my children grow up, grow in their relationship with Jesus and have families of their own. I appreciate my wife, she works part time from home, but is still a Mom. The most difficult yet rewarding job a woman can have. You get to help shape and develop children for the world, hopefully in a manner pleasing to God.
That leads me to my conclusion, no matter how much I work, no matter if I dedicate my entire life to raising my children, my greatest job will not be the one that "pays the bills", nope not it. The greatest task and job given to me by God is be a Dad and husband, and be the best I can be. I want to be what was written in Ephesians 5, and read the whole chapter, not just a verse. I want to love my wife and children as much as Jesus loves me. If I can do that, I have had some success.
I just ask that Jesus give me the necessary time with my family each day to accomplish this.
I hope you take the time each day to do the same.
